This is a continuation of putting up blog posts containing some of the academic work I am the most proud of during my time at University.
This essay was written at the University of Birmingham, in my third year course Live Art & Contemporary Performance. The discussion uses Body Art pieces primarily from Marina Abramović, Nicola Hunter and Eliza Bennett to look at the similarities and tensions between feminism and Body Art. Please note these performances are live art so there is discussion of blood, and body modification.
