Workshop Manager
For a year I was the Workshop Manager at Relief Theatre, who’s raison d'etre was to support people trying something new, to learn new skills and provide a wide range of activities.
I ran workshops myself from, improvisation to units & objectives; from devising to Berkoff; and organised a range of others.
Bedlam Theatre & The Edinburgh University Theatre Company
During festivals at Bedlam Theatre I was also a regular workshop leader. I ran sessions on a variety of topics including Auditioning, Introduction to Tech and Multimedia in Theatre.
Candlewasters 16-17 Directors Workshops
I was also invited back to give a directors workshop focusing on the Show Team.
Writing Workshops
Inklings
Was a new-writing club at Stowe, for children aged 13 - 18. We looked at writing in general compared to writing for theatre, and had a go at writing ourselves, focusing on different aspects of writing such as dialogue, character or genre.

Work in Progress
Whilst running Candlewasters - a scratch night for new writing at Bedlam Theatre - we also started running a series of writers workshops. Writers brought pieces they were working on, we read them as a group and chatted about them - providing feedback and critique in a supportive manner.
Working with Children
Teaching assistant
I have previously worked as a Drama teaching assistant, and supported students with coursework at GCSE & A-Level (AQA).
At Stowe, I started and ran the Design Team, as part of the school play. The design team were made up of students who were working backstage for the piece, we had a collection of budding Lighting designers, Stage Managers and Costume & Make up designers, that I was responsible for introducing to their departments. Who then worked on the school play.
Bedlam Theatre Youth Project (15-16)
I was the Backstage Manager for the the Youth Project. My role was to design and then lead a week long series of workshops for children to introduce them to the backstage aspects of theatre. We made props, costume and set, we also learnt about stage management and tech design.
I was also training them to take part in the show at the end of the week, The Jungle Book, we had children as our, technical ops, deputy stage manager and assistant stage manager.
Chipping Norton Theatre
For a few years, I assisted in a mix of the workshops for children at The Theatre, Chipping Norton. These workshops were a variety that included: A Play In a Week, A Musical In A Week, etc.
ACADEMIC MENTOR
I spent a year as one of the Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) workshop leaders in my university department. We provided weekly sessions to the first years and we helped with set work and essays, held revision and extra-discussions on bits of the course they asked for more help with, and formatting and assessment support. We spent a lot of time talking about planning and research.
We also provided a space to generally help with the adjustment to university life, ask questions of those who have been there before.
